My Dream
I love photography. At an early age, I remember sneaking my Mom’s old SLR from the drawer and hiding under the table to look at it. I loved the sound it made when the shutter clicked, and the way life looked through the lens.
I’m a dreamer, although I wasn’t always a dreamer. In 2003 I was “stuck” for lack of a better term. There were so many facets of my life that I wasn’t happy with, but they all required change from within me. I woke up one day and saw life in a new light. I realized the only one that was holding me back from my dreams was me. I worked hard to reclaim my life: I lost 95 pounds and pursued my passions. This is when my passion for photography really took over! I found a zest for life again and I wanted to capture it all! There is no better medium for celebrating life than through photography!
Photography is my passion. It’s more than just taking a pretty picture, it’s intensely personal. When I look back on pictures I’ve taken of my own family, I’m taken right back there again…emotions and all.
Life is too busy. Days fly by in a blur, and one day molds into the next. Our lives are shaped by moments. These little moments that pass us by every day won’t be remembered unless they are captured! The pictures I have during my childhood are ones that I treasure, and I want to give my three kids the same memories to look back on.

My Grandma and Me in 1976
Not only do I want to capture those little moments that shape childhood, life, and love but I want to capture emotions and most importantly connection. I want you to look back at your photos and FEEL the love, the happiness, and get lost in reverie. I want you to be yourself and show off who you are in your session.
I want you to laugh, hug, and play during your family session. I want to capture the excitement and love parents have for their unborn baby. I want to capture the sassy, confident and beautiful side found within every woman. I want you to be comfortable enough to just hang out with me for a couple hours, and get pictures in the process. I want for you to be loved and cherished and I want to snap it all.
Don’t wait to capture YOUR moments. I would love to celebrate the art of connection in your life.
