My eldest sister Darlene (there are 6 girls in my family) married her long-time love Cory in Jasper over the week-end. The moment I met Cory I instantly liked him and went as far to tell Dar that if for some reason it didn’t work out between them, he would still be part of the family. Lucky for us, their love evolved just as we’d hoped, and I’m so happy to now call him my brother-in-law.
The ceremony was held at the Lobstick Lodge which overlooks the beautiful mountains of Jasper. My sister was glowing with happiness as she walked down the aisle. Our Mom and Cory’s Mom stood up for the couple with pride.

With family and friends dabbing the tears from their eyes, the happy couple exchanged vows.

Sealed with a kiss!

They exit as husband and wife!

We took a few pictures on the balc
ony before getting ready to head out to Pyramid Lake for more pictures.

We wait in the lobby for our chariot!

Darlene swaps out these fab boots for…

…the comfort and style of her mukluks and off to Pyramid Lake we go!

Darlene was skipping with excitement as we made our way to the look-out point! Her excitment was infectious, I grinned the entire time I was taking pictures.

I had to include this picture to show you how cold it was. The night before the wedding, the temperature dipped below -30, so we were fortunate to only deal with -16 at the time of these pictures.

However…they did a great job of keeping each other warm

We literally only had a few minutes of light before the sun set on the top of the mountains and shed this brilliant flare onto the pictures! I’m not sure if I was shaking from the cold or the excitement as these amazing rays spilled into the frame!

Congratulations Darlene and Cory! I am so happy to have been part of your special day. Love and hugs to you both!
