What a year 2008 has been! The year started out with so much doubt in the direction I was going with photography but after taking Hope’s DLS Workshops earlier this year, 2008 in now ending with promise and excitement as I look to the year ahead. I’m thankful for the friendships I have made through the workshops as well. It’s great to have found such a fun group of shutterbugs!
I have enjoyed capturing so many wonderful moments and I have loved working with amazing families, lovey-dovey couples, silly and energetic kids, and beautiful women this year. I can’t wait to do it all over again in the new year. My Mom used to tell me that if you get lost in your work and lose track of time you’ve found the career for you. I’m still pinching myself that I’m actually pursuing my passion for photography. I want to thank my friends, family, and clients for supporting me as I grow in my business. I’m working on a website and new packages for the new year so stay tuned!
It’s way too cold outside to take any outdoor pictures, so it was a perfect opportunity this morning to play with my new flash I bought yesterday before I use it at my sister Darlene’s wedding this week-end. Happy New Year! May 2009 bring you lots of joy and laughter
