Continuing my post from last night….
Jen asked me a few months ago if I would take pictures for her wedding. I usually don’t book weddings because my focus has been on other types of photography, but this wedding was a perfect fit for me. I grew up with Jen and her Mom used to care for my son when I worked full-time (Thank you Neta!). Rob, the groom, used to teach my son Guitar lessons. Many of the guests at their wedding were also guests at my own wedding, so I was so comfortable and honoured to be a part of their special day.
Their ceremony was beautiful. The church was filled with family and friends that have watched J. and R. grow-up and find each other in the very church they were married in.
The mixing of the sand symbolizes two lives now joined together to become one, just as the sands become one as they are poured.
Sealed with a kiss…
Jen co-ordinates the nursery at the Church. Children are very important to her and as you can see, she is very important to them as well.
The wedding party braved the cold, and we did a little jumping to stay warm!
Congratulations Jen and Rob! Thank you for inviting me to capture your love and devotion. It was an honour.
